A DAY OF MUTUAL AID, SOLIDARITY, FUN, AND COMMUNITY
Join us for the Twin Cities Solidarity Picnic for FREE FOOD, FREE LIVE MUSIC, A BOUNCE CASTLE AND WATER SLIDE, FREE GROCERIES, GAMES, MUTUAL AID SKILLSHARES, and SO MUCH MORE! This is a coalition-building family-friendly event meant to celebrate and showcase the collective power of our community and our ability to quickly organize to take care of each other's needs and respond to authoritarianism, in addition to further building out our network of alternatives to the status quo.
Please note: The ramps from the parking lots to the sidewalks are older and have some bumps and cracks. There is one large, more accessible port-a-potty onsite (marked on the map above). The bathroom building is problematic due to the size of the stalls and the location of the sink. Neither have an automatic door. Picnic shelter C is the only accessible shelter and there is 1 accessible parking spot in the adjoining lot. There are a total of 6 accessible spaces (all marked on the map above). We will do our best to make sure all pathways are clear and the above map gives details on any problem areas. Please reach out with any questions!
